Distance Selling Directive
The European Commission has issued the "Distance Selling Directive", which applies to business-to-customer contracts and is intended to protect online shoppers and provide a level playing field on which businesses can compete.

We fully conform with this directive, and here would like to state the key-points of your rights as a consumer.

The main characteristics of our goods : Every effort is made to clearly describe all items for sale. If required, further information can always be supplied by contacting Moonphase Limited.

The price including all taxes : All items for sale are clearly priced.

Information on delivery time and costs: UK delivery prices are given for every product. Rates vary for mainland European destinations. See below for further information on deliveries

A written confirmation of the order : After an order has been placed you will receive confirmation by email or fax.

Cancelling your order: You can cancel an order by telephoning +44 (0)1223 841035, or emailing us at sales@georgels.co.uk stating your order reference information. Goods generally ship out within one working day of us receiving your order - once the goods have shipped you may still return them to us under the our returns policy which is shown in full below.

After-sales service and warranty: If, for any reason, any of our products do not reach you in good condition, we will happily replace or refund the items concerned under the terms of our guarantee - see section below for full details. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Payment and Delivery of Goods
Credit Card payment for orders either available from stock or otherwise will be taken immediately on receipt of an order. Barring exceptional circumstances, such as adverse weather or any other situation beyond our control, stock items will typically be shipped within one working day from time of an order being received.

On receipt of an order for an item out of stock, we will inform the customer as soon as is reasonably possible, at that time the customer may choose to cancel their order without penalty.

Items out of stock will typically reach you within 28 days from date of order.

All prices include VAT at 17,5%

Product Guarantee
All George L's products sold through Moonphase Ltd. (hereinafter called “The Equipment”) upon the following terms and conditions carry a 2-year guarantee covering defects in materials or workmanship effective from the date of delivery of the equipment to the customer. This guarantee does not cover faults or damage arising from any wilful act, negligence, abuse or misuse of the equipment by any person whatsoever or by accident including but not limited to damage by fire or water or acts of God. Moonphase Ltd. shall not be liable for direct, indirect or consequential damages as a result of any failure of the equipment. Moonphase Ltd. shall not be liable for failure to render service for causes beyond its control. This contract constitutes the entire agreement between Moonphase Ltd. and the customer. There are no representations, conditions or warranties, expressed or implied, which are not specified herein. This contract may only be varied as agreed between Moonphase Ltd. and the customer in writing.

Returns Policy
If as the customer you are not satisfied with the equipment for any reason, you should contact Moonphase Ltd. within 10 days of receipt of the equipment. We agree to refund the full purchase price and the outgoing delivery charges immediately the equipment is received back from you. Please note, the equipment must be returned in its original condition complete with all paperwork, and sent by recorded delivery or any other traceable means. Moonphase Ltd. cannot be held responsible for loss of equipment in return shipments. We recommend you insure returns against loss for a sum at least equivalent to the purchase price.

Our commitment
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. This is known as 'opting-in'

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

The information we collect and how we use it
We gather information to allow us to process your registration and facilitate the purchase procedure. The relevant information is then used to maximise the effectiveness of our services, and to increase the speed with which transactions are conducted.

We will not provide, sell, barter or trade any information about you to/with any third parties.
